PLAYWRIGHT & DIRECTOR

Will Murdock is a Georgia-based playwright and director. Known mostly for his work with Georgia's Official Folk-Life Play, Swamp Gravy, Will is interested in the magic of the everyday. His personal plays explore the ideas of family, myth, and how people relate to one another. His community-based scripts for Swamp Gravy delve into the themes of home, secrets & lies, communication, and more. His favorite theater peels back the layers of pretense that people build around themselves and surprise the audience with unexpected visuals.

"We are all failures; at least, the best of us are." - J.M. Barrie
